People buy linen for the washed colour and then resent the crease in the seat. The crease is the material doing what it does. Steam will only postpone it.
Loose covers help because they can go in a machine. Fixed upholstery in linen is a more precious version of the same wrinkles.
In a formal room linen can look unready. In a family room it looks like someone lives there. Decide which room you are furnishing, not which photograph you saved.
The studio will show the colour in your light. It will not iron the seat. If that bothers you on a screen, it will bother you on a Sunday.
