Oak is morning wood. Walnut is evening wood.
Zverejnené
Oak, especially white-oiled oak, lifts a room toward daylight. Walnut pulls it toward night. Neither is warmer in the moral sense. They are different clocks.
A room can take both if one is clearly in charge — oak floors and a walnut table, or the reverse. Equal parts of each look like a showroom that ordered two samples.
Drop the table and the sideboard in the studio and see which wood the sofa cloth prefers. Grey fabric leans oak. Mustard and rust lean walnut. This is not law, just a tendency you can test.
If you already have one wood in the floor, let it win. Fighting the boards is an expensive hobby.
