Most furniture returns start as a skipped measurement

People talk about returns as if they were about taste. A lot of them are about a sofa that could not pass a door or a table that ate the only walkway.

Do the unglamorous work first: path, footprint, seat depth. Then argue about the cloth. The studio is for the footprint. The tape is for the path. Together they remove the expensive kind of surprise.
