A pouf is an extra, not a seating plan

Poufs fill the hole in a catalog mood shot. They suggest you could host six. You cannot, not comfortably, not for a meal.

Count real seats: backs, heights, a place to set a glass. Then, if the floor still has a gap, a pouf can be a footrest or a spare perch for a child.

In the studio a pouf looks harmless because it is small. In the room it migrates, collects bags, and never quite becomes the sixth chair you imagined.

Buy seats first. Buy the cube when the seats are already enough.
