A furniture site can drown you in stories and still leave you unsure. The useful action is narrower: put this object in that room and look at it for a minute.
On Hausjam that action is the Try control on a card. It is not a gimmick beside the price. It is the reason the price is being shown to you in the first place.
Use it early, before you have a favourite. Favourites form around pictures. Decisions should form around the floor you already have.
If you only remember one thing from this journal, remember to press that control on the piece you like and on the piece you almost skipped. The room is better at choosing than the grid.
