Kitchen seats that still let someone pass with a pan

Empty stools under a peninsula photograph as a thin line. A person on that stool needs another 40 cm. The person with the pan needs a way around both.

Place the stools in the studio at the occupied depth, not tucked. If the remaining aisle is narrower than a baking tray, weeknight cooking will become a negotiation.

Backless stools free a few centimetres and look calmer. They are worse for long dinners. Decide which evening you are furnishing.
