What a room photo has to show before the studio can help

Birt

The studio is not a moodboard. It has to recover the floor plane and the walls that bound it. A detail of a cushion tells it nothing it can measure.

Stand in the doorway if you can. Keep both side walls in the frame and a strip of floor in the foreground. Daylight from the window is enough; a ceiling wash at night is fine if it does not blow the corners to white.

Avoid the ultra-wide phone trick that bows the far wall into a smile. The reconstruction already accounts for ordinary perspective. Distortion just gives you a room that nobody lives in.

Two extra angles help when the first frame hides a niche or a radiator. The import can fold those in. What it cannot invent is a wall you never showed it.
