March is for subtracting, not for a new palette

The first warm weekend produces a desire to buy a lighter throw and a vase. The room is usually not missing those. It is missing floor.

Walk the lounge and remove three things that only made sense next to the heater. Then photograph what is left and sit a single candidate in the studio. If the room already breathes, you may not need the candidate.

A new palette on top of an unedited winter room is just a louder winter room. Editing is the seasonal move.

If you do buy, buy something that can stay when October comes back. March objects that cannot survive autumn become the next winter's clutter.
