City summers move life a metre toward the air. Pieces that cannot tolerate a night outside become a logistical problem every warm weekend.

Look for finishes that already expect weather: teak, powder-coated metal, ceramic. Then drop them in the indoor plan as well. If they look like camping equipment next to the sofa, they will stay in the cellar.
