Listings quote frame height. You sleep on the mattress. Add the two before you decide the bed is low and modern or tall and easy to make.

A platform that sits at 35 cm finished can cover the only socket on that wall. A 65 cm finished height can make a short sleeper feel like they are boarding a train.

In the studio the catalog height is the published frame. Mentally add your mattress, or pick a listing that publishes the dressed height. Then see whether the bedside table still sits at a usable plane.

Slippers, under-bed boxes, and the way you sit to put on socks are all height questions. Style is the least of them.
