Product pages lead with the pretty dimensions: width, depth, seat height. The carton line sits lower, in a smaller type, as if it were a warehouse detail. It is the stair detail.
A dining table that ships as a 180 cm slab will not rotate on a 90 cm landing even if the finished top would. Legs in a second box do not help the slab.
If the listing hides packed size, write to the seller before you pay. A day of waiting is cheaper than a sofa that lives in the hallway because it cannot make the turn.
The studio will not simulate the stair. It will stop you buying a piece that cannot live in the room. You still owe the building the other measurement.
